Slap Yo mama Turkey Meatloaf! 

When I find a recipe I love I tend to make it over and over again. I pretty much have this one memorized where I don’t even have to pull up the recipe anymore.

I never really was a meatloaf fan growing up but in the last 10 years (eww I feel old saying that) I’ve been on the hunt for healthy recipes and I stumbled upon Let me tell you, GREAT SOURCE!! I’ve tried a few of their recipes and they have all been delish!!

So on to our meatloaf! This bad boy is super easy to make!  Mix all the ingredients and throw it in the oven. In one hour it’s done! Serve this with some garlic mashed potatoes and a vegetable for a complete meal.

Turkey Meatloaf

1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp ketchup (I use organic)

2 tsp worcestershire sauce

1/2 small onion, minced (I’ve used 1 tsp onion powder in a pinch, shown below)

1 tsp olive oil

1.3 lb 99% lean ground turkey

1/2 cup seasoned breadcrumbs (I use Whole Wheat or Italian is the best)

1 egg

1 tsp marjoram

salt to taste


Preheat the oven to 350°. In a small bowl combine 2 tbsp ketchup with worcestershire sauce.

Saute olive oil and onion on low until translucent, remove from heat.

In a medium bowl mix turkey, onion, breadcrumbs, egg, 1/4 cup ketchup, salt and marjoram. Place mixture into a loaf pan or shape into a loaf and place on a baking pan. Spoon sauce on top.

Bake uncovered for 55-60 minutes, remove from oven and let it sit for 5 minutes before slicing.

This is great to make on the weekend and have ready for lunch for the week.
